DocuSign Helps Special Olympics Digitize Business Operations
DocuSign is working with the Special Olympics to help minimize the hassles of paperwork. As part of the relationship announced on March 11, DocuSign has provided Special Olympics with its Digital Transaction Management (DTM) platform and eSignature solution to empower athletes, guardians, coaches, and doctors to electronically sign required documents like medical releases and participation forms – anytime, anywhere, on any device, securely.
“Reducing barriers to entry is critical for Special Olympics and why we’re grateful to DocuSign for providing us with this capability,” said Janet Froetscher, CEO of Special Olympics. “We continuously look for ways to transform the way we serve our millions of athletes around the world. With DocuSign, athletes, guardians, coaches, and doctors will be able to complete required health screenings digitally, without the need for paperwork.”
DocuSign will be used for local, regional and world Special Olympics Games, including the upcoming 2015 World Summer Games in Los Angeles from July 25 to August 2. DocuSign’s DTM platform will minimize the need for Special Olympics to use paper-based documents for athlete health forms. With DocuSign for Office 365, Special Olympics can further streamline business operations and reallocate both cost and time savings to activities that support its mission.
