Digitizing Processes Across Campus with eSignature
Higher education institutions are currently facing many challenges. Some are recent, like transitioning to remote and hybrid teaching and learning. And some have just gotten more difficult, like attracting and retaining top talent, declining federal grant money and shrinking donor commitments. Taken together, there’s a clear mandate for schools to economize any way they can.
Electronic signatures have certainly helped ease both students and staff into this new academic landscape. But there’s more to agreements than just signatures. Digitally transforming the entire agreement process can help address many operational and administrative challenges.
This paper features research from a recent DocuSign survey of 159 higher education professionals who expanded their eSignature usage—in breadth across university departments, and in depth through add-on applications. As a result, they’ve seen better staff retention, process efficiency and cost improvements.
