DocuSign Enters into Sponsorship Agreement with Special Olympics
- DocuSign announced a new sponsorship with Special Olympics in which DocuSign will provide support to make many of the nonprofit’s processes digital to help minimize the paperwork required of Special Olympics athletes.
- Special Olympics athletes as well as their guardians, coaches and doctors will have the option to use DocuSign to complete medical releases and participation forms.
- The 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles, will mark the first World Summer Games held in the U.S. in 16 years, and the first time required signatures are captured digitally.
SAN FRANCISCO, DOCUSIGN MOMENTUM ’15—March 11, 2015—Today, DocuSign, Inc. (DocuSign®) announced a new sponsorship with Special Olympics to help minimize the hassles of paperwork. As part of the relationship, DocuSign has provided Special Olympics with its Digital Transaction Management (DTM) platform and eSignature solution to empower athletes, guardians, coaches, and doctors to electronically sign required documents like medical releases and participation forms – anytime, anywhere, on any device, securely.
DocuSign will be used for local, regional and world Special Olympics Games, including the upcoming 2015 World Summer Games in Los Angeles from July 25 to August 2. DocuSign’s DTM platform will minimize the need for Special Olympics to use paper-based documents for athlete health forms. With DocuSign for Office 365, Special Olympics can further streamline business operations and reallocate both cost and time savings to activities that support its mission.
