OpenText CS for DocuSign Signature Appliance

Digitally sign documents from within OpenText CS, including integration with OpenText workflow.

The OpenText Content Server Connector by Fastman enables organizations that have invested in business automation using OpenText solutions to completely eliminate paper from their signature-dependent processes.

No more print–sign–scan! Legally and securely sign documents from within the familiar OpenText user interface. The connector includes integration with the Content Server workflow system for added productivity.

By seamlessly integrating with DocuSign Signature Appliance (formerly known as CoSign), the connector enables the replacement of tedious, expensive and inefficient paper-based processes with fully digital ones, ensuring that the original signed document is stored on your system, always available and always secure.

After the quick deployment of the connector, all the user has to do is simply select an action or workflow to sign a document or record and follow the prompts provided to complete the process. In addition, the connector’s automatic synchronization with Active Directory or other directory system guarantees low total cost of ownership.

DocuSign Signature Appliance can also be configured to work with most OpenText products in a side-by-side configuration. This enables users to quickly and easily sign documents using DocuSign Signature Appliance, then manage the signed documents using OpenText products and applications.

Key Benefits

  • Increase efficiency—The connector enables users to integrate signing tasks directly into their Content Server workflows, shortening process times by reducing the efforts wasted on printing, signing and then scanning signed documents.
  • Sign faster—Signature profiles provide the ability for signing options, and the signature’s location on the page to be automatically chosen via the document’s content type.
  • Verify faster—Documents’ signatures can be verified from with the OpenText user interface.
